About us
Beautiful Britain is the new monthly magazine celebrating the best of Britain’s rural and urban environments.
We are passionate about landscape, culture, heritage, wildlife, food and travel around Britain. Every issue is packed with fabulous photography, interesting and thought-provoking writing, in-depth interviews as well as topical and inspiring stories about the people, landscapes, heritage and events that shape Britain today.
We will also be providing advice on where to stay and eat and the best places to see and things to do.
The Team
Rob Yarham, Editor
An experienced journalist and magazine editor, Rob has worked on Beautiful Britain since 2005, becoming Editor in 2007. Rob has over 20 years experience working on magazines and books, and as a freelance writer and editor, having written many articles and books on the great outdoors, including wildlife, conservation, and the landscape and history of Britain.
Tim Mapleston, Art Editor
Tim is a hugely experienced art director and has designed a host of leading newsstand and customer magazines in the lifestyle, interiors, food, travel and business sectors, including How to Spend It for the Financial Times and Sainsbury’s Magazine.
Xenia Taliotis, Deputy Editor
Xenia has 20 years’ experience working with some of the UK’s largest custom publishing agencies, including Cedar Communications, Redwood, Forward, Publicis-Blueprint and John Brown. Xenia has also been a freelance contributor to the Daily Telegraph’s special supplements, plus writing travel pieces for the Evening Standard and Thomas Cook.
